Following the retirement of Professor Yoshihiro Nishida of the Graduate School of Horticulture, Chiba University, with whom we have been conducting joint research on the synthesis of mycoplasma glycolipid antigens, we have concluded a joint research agreement with the successor, Associate Professor Hiroshi Doi.
We plan to conduct joint research with Associate Professor Hiroshi Doi on methods for synthesizing glycolipid antigens of Mycoplasma genitalium, a cause of infertility.
Using this technology, we plan to develop a diagnostic system for Mycoplasma genitalium, as well as therapeutic and preventive vaccines, and we hope that it will also contribute to addressing Japan's major issue of declining birthrates.
